Story: Adam starts as we meet cocky salesman Adam Niskar (Paul) who gets the deals done at any cost. This has seen him getting a new promotion leading to a celebration with his new team. However, after an accident Adam finds himself paralysed from the waist down.

He isn’t going to accept any help, despite the fact he will need help for the foreseeable future, maybe even the rest of his life. However, he must learn the adapt to his new life despite not wanting to get used to having any help.

Verdict on Adam

Adam is a biographical drama following the struggles Adam Niskar faced after becoming a quadriplegic after an accident. It follows his journey to acceptance of his new situation even if it hits plenty of stumbling blocks along the way.

This is an inspirational story proving that people can go on to have a normal life even after a life-changing accident. It shows the struggles both physical and mental that one man overcame. However, this does show a recovery process for someone who could afford the care needed and doesn’t show the support someone outside that bubble could receive. Aaron Paul is brilliant in the leading role in the movie.

Final ThoughtsAdam tells an inspirational story about finding peace in the aftermath of an accident.
