A leading activist of the ‘Aragalaya’ protest movement, Senadhi Guruge, who was arrested in connection with an assault on two intelligence officers, has been remanded until September 2 by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday.
When the matter was taken up, police requested the Magistrate to refer him to an identification parade.
Accordingly, the Magistrate ordered for the suspect to be produced in an identification parade on September 2.
