Thoughts on Acquainted

Final Thoughts Acquainted brings us into the modern view of love, seeing how two people could meet at random and believe they are in love, only to have a problem about being together, being involved in a relationship with other people. It shows us how people can be taking the biggest stage of their lives, but someone could make them rethink this decision, even if it is just a spark, that could throw away something they have had for years. It is strange that the characters are not the nicest, as you see how they are so desperately trying to cheat on each other’s partners even if they know it would be wrong. It never offers up enough of the idea that people could be friends, showing that people can throw away something stable for the unknown. The acting through the film is strong with Giacomo Gianniotti and Laysla De Oliveira taking the leading roles well through the film.
