The emphasis for this scheme is towards the pedestrian and the majority of the trafficked areas adopt the principals of shared space. Off the main access road are a number of mews type streets with a single surface from building edge to building edge.

Allocated parking is dealt with in a number of ways – off street carport parking, allocated on street parking, ground floor parking below buildings. Unallocated parking is allowed and this added element helps to restrict carriage way widths, helping to attenuate traffic speed.
