Accolade for Andy from CIPR

Andy Green has won the ‘Outstanding Public Relations Professional’ award in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ annual awards.
Andy received the accolade, in an award voted by members of the Institute, at a prestigious ceremony at London’s Park Lane.
The award recognised Andy’s significant achievements during the year including:

  • His position as PR Director of Bully-Banks which successfully campaigned against bank mis-selling to small businesses
  • His initiative in producing an Innovation & Creativity Toolkit for the Institute which is now being made available to professional bodies worldwide
  • The publication of his latest book ‘Tubespiration! – how to get your next brilliant idea by using the London Underground as a creativity tool’ and
  • The creation of the UK’s first community Ideasbank.

The award also marks a birthday celebration of GREEN Communications based at King Street, Wakefield, which was founded 20 years ago. Andy is a Fellow of the Institute and also of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. Commenting on the award Andy said: “It is particularly significant and a great honor being chosen by votes from PR practitioners across the UK.”
