LG announced that it will soon release a game portal to play at their latest Smart TV called Game World . Portal game will be released in the second half of the year 2012 which was held exclusively for inema 3D Smart TV line.
Game World will offer both free and paid games, and some of them supporting 3D features. Category of games offered would vary from action, adventure, arcade, puzzle, RPG, shooter, simulation, sports and strategy.
Unfortunately, LG did not reveal any game they are going to release, but if you see from the promo pictures they release the game likely presented include Air Penguin 3D, Shadowgun, Cut the Rope, Plants & Zombies, and Frisbee Forever.
According to the CEO of LG, Havis Kwon, Game World will offer popular games as well as games developed specifically for their Smart TVs. Currently they use the Smart TV NetCast platform, smart device platform owned by LG. But the future will also be presented Smart TV that uses the Android platform.
