About 235,000 Workers Filed For Unemployment Last Week

The previous week's level was revised up by 2,000 from 243,000 to 245,000. The 4-week moving a vera ge wa s 235,500, a n increa se of 250 from the previous week's revised a vera ge. The previous week's average was revised up by 500 from 234,750 to 235,250.
