Abhishek Kapoor’s Film ‘Kai Po Che’ Is About Middle Class Indian Youth

Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming project ‘Kai Po Che’ is about friendship. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Music is given by Amit Trivedi.

When asked about the film, Abhishek said: “It’s a film about three young people and their friendship. Here, the characters are relatable. It’s a deep-rooted Indian film about middle class India and youth. It’s about youth’s desire of making money, becoming successful and having a girlfriend.”

The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best selling novel ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’ and stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav, Amit Sadh, Amrita Puri, Bakul Syal and Rohit Bhatnagar.

Film ‘Kai Po Che’ will hit theatres on February 22nd, 2013.
