Damien Chazelle – First Man
Why I’ve Picked this choice – First Man was one film I wanted to see this year being a huge fan of the space-race, this story follows the life of Neil Armstrong from the tragic part of his life, right up to the historical moment in life. This is a different film to what people were expecting because it does focus on his personal life over the full space race to the moon. When we hit the space scenes we get breath taking scenes, while the human interactions feel real and genuine.
