She loved her people. She loved giving them things. Sometimes, it was food for their children. At times, it was a means of livelihood. And rarely, it were even treasures which they could sell to ear something for their family.
But they never truly appreciated her. They never valued the help she was doing for them. In fact, they took it for granted. They thought it to be their right to be getting these things from her. If she couldn’t deliver them sometimes, they would curse and abuse her.
There never was a day when she was treated well by her. So much so that she had to endure garbage and muck being thrown on her.
A woman is a giver. She will always give to the best of her ability. But there is only so much a woman could offer. Well, they do say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. But that is not what the newspapers said the next day.
