It was a change of pace somewhat to have a wedding so close to home for me, I am quite used to traveling and spending a fair amount of time getting to and from a wedding. So when we met a few months prior I was quite interested, if only due to the fact that it was close to home.

So on this warm and very pleasant Summer day, with a few lazy clouds in the blue sky that Fiona and Carl decided was the day for their Wedding.
Fiona was set on making sure they had a fabulous little wedding with personal touches and in a place where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves with their friends.

The day started as any wedding day , with the Bride getting ready surrounded by family and friends and the center of a frenzy of activity as flowers arrived, friends and family arrived and left on new errands or to check old tasks had been done. The entire time Fiona, ever calm on the outside took her time to prepare, she did engage a glass of bubbly to help steady any over exited nerves.

It was not long before the Taxis arrived to take everyone to Wedding Ceremony  at Camden Town Hall, a really lovely venue with a wonderful set of stairs and wood panelled rooms for the ceremony. The ceremony was  witness by a fair number of friends and family.

Fiona and Carl had made sure to arrange a Routemaster bus to convey all their guests to the Victoria Stakes pub in Crouch End, all would have gone a little more to plan had traffic and roadworks decided to be part of the day. The couple took it all in stride and enjoyed the time with their guests and even made sure to take a little time with each other.
The Victoria Stakes pub made sure that every detail was sorted and that from the moment the couple arrived everything ran to schedule, so soon everyone was seated with a glass of wine, a good meal and the traffic forgotten.

The pub made sure that while the couple thanked their guests and gave their speeches the band was upstairs preparing for the first dance and make a glorious noise for everyone to dance to, and this is how the evening was ended, on a high Note!
