Last year, we made a Goa trip with friends for 4 days and relished those alluring places. I did not have a blog, but since I have now, I decided to pen down my amazing journey experience which will inspire and mesmerize oneself to make a Goa trip. The memories are still fresh as if the trip was ended yesterday.
Goa is the most popular tourist destination in India for its extravagant beaches, soulful churches, scenic roadways, lush green landscape, irresistible food dishes, and the never-ending zeal.
Whether you are looking for a perfect weekend getaway destination, adventure fueled vacation or some quiet retreat with your loved ones, Goa offers everyone as it never fails to impress and is a travel-friendly place.
Goa is divided into three regions – North, South, and Central. We stayed in North Goa and explored this side of the state.
Below are the 4 days Goa Trip Itinerary
#Day 1 – Candolim Beach
We arrived at our hotel located in North Goa in the afternoon. After refreshing ourselves for a while we went out to explore the place in the evening.
The moment we arrived at Candolim beach during dusk, we felt it like a paradise. The serene and tranquil beach is clean with good entrance and ample parking area.
Along the seashore, you can enjoy your time with the waves on the beach beds. The beach has shacks and restaurants nearby, which is quite good and looks stunning. The lane and the restaurants are filled with many foreign tourists which made me felt as if am in some western countries.
#Day 2 – Vagator beach, Chapora Fort , Mandrem beach
Riding a two-wheeler is the best, cheapest and convenient way to adore the lush green landscape as shown in the movie ”Love you Zindagi”. It was fun riding around the city.
Adjoining the famous Anjuna beach, Vagator has less crowd and picturesque spot.
Near to Vagator is Chapora fort, famously known as “ Dil Chahta Hai “ fort. It is one of the famous tourist places and has a breathtaking view of Vagator beach, the Morjim beach, and the Arabian Sea. A perfect place to capture the best shot with the famous pose of Bollywood stars.
After retreating ourselves, we went ahead for Mandrem beach. We arrived at sunset and the way to the beach was mesmerizing with an idyllic view and serene beauty of the white sand. This beach is very clean and it definitely has a laid-back vibe. The colorful shacks add more beauty to the beach.
Mandrem beach became one of our favorite amongst all and will recommend everyone to visit this place.
#Day 3 – Basilica of Bom Jesus, Palolem beach
After getting recommendation and rave reviews about South Goa beach, we planned to visit Palolem.
On our way to South, we first visited Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Old Goa. A must visit to admire the beautiful architecture which is a part of Goan history and to see the mortal remains of the missionary Saint Francis Xavier. In opposite to this, St. Cathedral church is there which can be visited too.
We then move ahead to our destination- Palolem beach. It is one of the South most picturesque beaches having white sand with palm trees lining the shore, peaceful turquoise sea, and good beach shacks.
#Day 4 – Candolim beach, Colva beach
This is the final day of our Goa trip. As Candolim beach is nearby and we had not seen it in the daytime, so we went to experience it. It has a decent crowd. All the sporting activities were available and we enjoyed our adventure ride of parasailing.
It is indeed one of the best beaches to visit in North Goa.
We left early for the airport and had an ample time, so we decided to visit Colva beach which was on the way. It is a very busy, crowded beach and not clean. Personally, I didn’t like it much.
Property in Goa
While traveling around Goa, we came across properties offering luxurious villas, beach houses, Old houses, Apartments in individual stand-alone constructions, Apartments in communities or co-operative societies.
The thoughts came to our mind that Buying Villa in Goa is the best investment as it has so many benefits-
- Affordable prices compare to bigger metropolitan cities.
- Rent it out and earn from it.
- The rates of Goa property will only rise with time.
- Perfect holiday home with lush greenery and scintillating beaches.
Like us, am sure many of you never want to leave Goa and want to keep visiting, so having the holiday home will make it easy. Check out the website Goa Villa Estate for more info.
Shopping

Foods
- Copperleaf: Located in North Goa. They provide the best meal and the best service with affordable charges.
- Try out the local Konkani cuisine in nearby beach restaurants.
Things To Remember
- If you are staying in North Goa, I would advise to explore that area and save a lot of time visiting South Goa beaches.
- Carry swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Be a good tourist and keep the beach clean.
- Carry your ID card as it will be required while hiring 2 wheeler/4 wheeler.
So Get Set Ready and Roar Loud- Go Go Goa !!!
