A Spring Snow in Bethesda

It’s been a strange couple of winters in the Washington DC area. It has snowed several times – but it seems like it’s been a couple of years since we’ve really had much accumulation. So when they started calling for snow this week – I figured we wouldn’t see much – after all – it’s the end of March! Well you can imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to find the neighborhood covered with a few inches of snow – and more was falling. But mid-day it was well on the way to melting – but for a few hours – we had a winter wonderland in early spring in Bethesda. Here are a few of the photos I took in my neighborhood before the snow melted.

And the nice thing about late March snows is that they usually melt quickly. It’s supposed to be in the upper 50′s later in the week . . .
