A Skincare Mix Up.

By Maddy1704 @unstitchedd

I've been switching up my skin care recently to accommodate the havoc colder weather and harsh heating plays on your skin, and here're my thoughts on them.
First up, the Garnier Micellar water, a dupe for the infamous Bioderma but for a fraction of the price. I used the L'Oreal one for a good long while, but fancied a change and had heard even better things than this one so decided to check it out when I went to repurchase. So far, so good. It's amazing for dissolving makeup, I just soak a cotton wool pad with it and wipe it over my skin to take the makeup off and it gets the job done quickly whilst being nice and gentle on my skin at the same time and not at all drying like I find a lot of makeup removers can tend to be.
Worth the hype?
I can definitely see why people love this so much, and when the cheaper alternatives work just as well as the higher end brands it seems daft to waste your money.
Next is the Magnitone Lucid, a daily cleansing brush which vibrates to give your skin a deep and thorough clean. I have to say, I'm very impressed with the results. My skin wasn't particularly bad before hand, but this has really helped to invigorate it making it appear brighter and smoother, and the results were almost instant.
Worth the hype?
For me, it would have to 100% be a yes, my skin has never felt cleaner and it's worked wonders on all my problem areas, both dry and greasy making the application of my foundation on top so much more flawless looking. It's worth taking into consideration the price though, its a lot (although still cheap compared to the likes of the clarisonic which are pretty much the same thing) so maybe not a purchase to go into as lightly.
I'd love to know what you think about either of these two products below! Is a purchase on the cards?
