"Just wanted to confirm the time & place for our date. I don't want to be late!"
He didn't give her the chance to say no this time! He assumed the answer would be yes and just skipped ahead to the details. He assumed correctly. I mean, how could she say no after such a bold-yet-entertaining approach? His humor and sweet determination had won her over.
They had what was perhaps the longest first date in the history of first dates - at least 10 hours. But, hey, who's counting, right? When you find a good one, you don't want to let 'em go. His humor won him the date, his love won him her heart. They've been smiling nonstop ever since.
For their engagement session, we started off at the Ferry Building with the Bay Bridge as our backdrop. Then we headed over to the Marina, hopped on a cable car, and watched the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge. It was the perfect evening ... and Kelly & Bill couldn't stop smiling if you paid them!
Kelly and Bill - I cannot wait for your wedding next May! Pretty sure my cheeks will be sore by the end of the day from all the laughing. :)
