It is so nice to have an inspiration when designing a space. It may be an existing floor covering, or an antique piece that has been handed down from generation to generation. My favorite is a great piece of art! I love letting a piece of art dictate what may end up in a space. My good friend Maureen Chatfield just painted a piece that is simply lovely and would lend itself to a soothing swedish style space.. so I thought I would have fun with it and pair the painting up with some great room pieces!
