We're 10 years in to this boozy blogging and vlogging journey. Many of the libations that we've reviewed over the past decade landed on our front porch courtesy of beer and booze mail, and some have have found their way into our booze cabinets and beer fridges via our own travels...
The subject of today's review was discovered accidentally by Limpd during a visit to a liquor at the Jersey Shore. Accidentally is perhaps the wrong word. Let's go with serendipitously because it just sounds better.
Misunderstood Ginger Spiced Whiskey is the name of what we'll be reviewing. Here's what the fine folks at Misunderstood Whiskey Company have to say about it:
This is an 80 proof American blended whiskey distilled from midwest grains, aged in used American oak barrels, and proudly infused & bottled in Kentucky. Our Ginger Spiced Whiskey is enjoyed by whiskey connoisseurs, whiskey rookies, and even those who suffer from what we call "whiskey-phobia" (you know who you are). With tasting notes of vanilla, caramel, toffee, spice, and a refreshing ginger finish, Legend One can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or in your favorite cocktail. Don't be shy.Though not something we would normally drink, given Limpd's positive experience with this stuff when he first tried it at that Jersey Shore liquor store, we thought it deserved the full BoozeDancing treatment.
