1. My denim shirt collection is getting wider and wider. If I'm not careful, all of my various shades of denim and chambray button ups will swallow everything else in my closet whole! I just received this Mavi denim shirt from Montana Blues, and it is so slimming. The denim they use is high-quality, and the shirt is well-structured in general. It doesn't hurt that the length hides those birthing hips ever so subtly! I give this shirt a two thumbs up if you are in the market for a dark denim button up this fall.
2. Fact: The average woman will spend approximately one year trying to decide what to wear (source). Unless said woman is a fashion blogger, in which that number probably goes up to about 5 years... or 20. No wonder so many women slowly shift into wearing black only! It could potentially add years to one's life if that extra time is spent exercising or doing something beneficial. I think I'm having a breakthrough here, people.
3. I already gushed about my excitement for that new A to Z show, and it wasn't in vain because Ben Feldman and the leading gal have awesome chemistry (I mean, look how cute they are!), and real chemistry can't be beat. (You know I am automatically jumping to visions of Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams/Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey/Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.) I am a firm believer that the chemistry makes the magic of a show or movie. And am I the only person that who had an immediate crush on Ben Feldman as the quirky Michael Ginsberg on Mad Men? He is annoying and weird, but I just liked him for whatever reason. Probably the same reason I have a crush on Bill Hader. I have no idea — don't ask. I guess I just like dorks? Matt, I suppose that means you might be a bit of a nerd ;) Anyway, Ben Feldman is adorable outside of his Michael Ginsberg schtick and I have yet another show to add to my list! All hail fall television!
4. While looking up Andy Samberg's wife, I stumbled upon 7 Minutes in Heaven with Mike O'Brien and am still wondering how I missed that web series boat? (I'm always late to the party, guys.) I generally die from secondhand embarrassment in regard to cringe humor, but I got over that an hour later as I was hunched over in tears from laughing so hard. And then the sadness sunk in that it was a short-lived blip, and I think it needs to make a comeback.
5. Would you rather be a Treasure Troll or a Smurf?
