Verdict on A Place Called Silence
Recap
The movie follows the consequences of bullying in a school setting. It shows the victim getting tormented and nobody doing anything to protect them. However, somebody has other plans for the bullies and the bodies start piling up.
Best Parts
The movie does an excellent job of making you want the bullies to get what they deserve, not an ounce of sympathy is placed on them. It is a harder watch, but the motivation in the aftermath of the bullying is strong and shows the loved ones would snap for revenge.
Worst Parts
The corruption in the school is shocking, and the lack of police involvement is even more disturbing. Nobody seemed to care, and that is easily the most uncomfortable part of the movie.
Final Thoughts – A Place Called Silence is disturbing for the lack of action.
