A New Compilation Album from Topshelf Records!

Posted on the 05 January 2015 by Spectralnights

We don’t need to repeat how much we love Topshelf Records here at Spectral Nights. Last year they released records by the likes of Braid, The Jazz June, Prawn, Sundials and My Fictions – all of which we reviewed. They also released one of our Top 5 albums of the year from Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) and can happily list A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Into It. Over It. and Nai Harvest amongst their roster. Now you can get a taster of all of these bands – and many more – by downloading this awesome 93-track sampler compilation!

Released in a pay-what-you-want format, all money raised will go towards Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; a very worthy cause. As well as bands who are part of the Topshelf ‘family’, the mammoth double album also features songs by acts that have impressed label owners – among them Alvvays, Pianos Become the Teeth, Sorority Noise, Basement, Deers, Xerxes, Adventures, Modern Baseball and more!

A brilliant way to banish those back-to-work and New Year blues, we highly recommend you download this compilation. You might just find your new favorite band!
