Morning all! On Tuesday we headed to Longleat for the afternoon with my Sister and her gorgeous little family, its the first time we've seen each other for almost 2 years so a catch up was definitely in order! For some reason, I thought it would be a nice relaxing, fun and enjoyable experience for us to go to Longleat during half term, if you're thinking of doing the same, DON'T! I've never seen so many people! Still, we all decided it might be best just to find a spot near the house and set up camp, so off we went, Ice Creams & Pick n Mix in tow, sat down next to the fountains and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon which was just bliss! Considering we had 4 children between us, Harriet 9, Abbie & Rupert who are 2 1/2 and Ernie who is 8 months, it was not stressful with the kids in the slightest, I like to put that down to our excellent parenting skills though ;) There were multiple attempts for Rupert to give Abbie a little daisy he found, poor thing, every time he tried to give it to her she'd either completely ignore him or she'd refuse. Sorry Roo, try again next time!
Postman Pat Village was probably the best part of the kids day, it's so cute seeing them all walk around posting letters in the doors, such good little helpers! Even Abbie got involved this time thanks to Harriet, although she did take a letter off Rupert and tried her hardest to take one of the little girl behind her too...
As always Ben gets involved with all the kids, he's so great with them, it's a great excuse for him to act like a child and roll down the little hill too, but the rest of us can just chill out and chat which is definitely a treat! Ha ha
Obviously every 2 year old needs a stash of mini eggs! ;)
