A Little Apartment Update

By Gandbblog @GandBblog
I love those moments when you find something you know will enhance your home so much. I have written several times about our apartment and how we wanted to make "this one" feel more like home, rather than a temporary place to live.Well, this weekend we invested in items we know we will want for a long time, and it felt great!
I wanted to share some of our items and give you a little sneak peek. When we are done, I am going to give you a tour. My first real tour. I am really excited about that!
First things first, just a little advice. If you want to love where you live, utilize your space as much as possible. Cook in your kitchen. Take long baths in your bathroom. Lounge in bed and read. Eat at your dining room table {working on this one}. Pretty up your closet and show off your pretty shoes, jewels, or scarves. If you live in your space, you will love it. Okay, off my soapbox now.
We do not have an HGTV worthy apartment, but we LOVE everything we have bought thus far.

Of course there's lots of gray and yellow.
What do you think?!
<< Also, if you pray, please pray for my little niece. My sister in law gave birth to a strong baby girl at 23 weeks. She weighs in at 1 lb 3 oz. Please pray for strength and comfort for my family, and that the baby's weight does not drop. She is incubated and the machines are breathing for her and regulating her blood pressure. They are located in Florida, so we are unable to be with them now, but we think about them all the time.
<< I am hosting a giveaway in February and I have 6 slots open for participants. To participate is $10 which will go towards the purchase of the prizes and shipping. You will have your blog address featured and two entries in the giveaway {Follow/Like Facebook, Follow Twitter, Follow Blog, Follow Pinterest, or Follow Instagram}.
