Dear Pakistan,
Something happened yesterday. It made us cry. It made you cry. Why? Because yesterday 132 dreams were lost. 132 innocent flames were snuffed out.
We have been sworn enemies since 67 years. We have had major wars- many times. But, we stand with you on this matter. We open our arms towards to you. We may be enemies- but, just this once: we have to act as one. We have to act as real neighbours.
We have to purge the nation of Taliban.
We had been a single nation. We know you better than any other country and vice versa. We now have a common enemy: Taliban. It’s been a long and hard journey for both of us. We can only imagine the pang of bullets that struck the small bodies of children.
Imagine how a mother would have felt in this case:
“.. Maa, I don’t want to go to school today, I just don’t feel like going to school today. Beta, you need to go- now get up and go.”
We can imagine the pain the mother must have felt when she forcefully sent her son and got the news that her child was no more.
So, Pak, you need not worry about trouble from the eastern border anymore. We will not be attacking- because our rule goes: never attack first.
We are students too, so, we can imagine the terror a child must have felt. The hatred towards Taliban when they killed our friends. It’s high time. We speak for India and their residents. We extend our hand of peace towards you. Don’t be scared. Accept it. We honor the bond a neighbor one must have with other. We stand with you. Our countries can finish their wars later: but for the time being we need to take this matter and end it for once and all.
After all, it could have been us to.
