A Lesson From History

It is amazing to me that this was known over twenty-three centuries ago, but seems to have been forgotten by many of our current politicians. The Republicans should take note. They continue to want to rob the poor and disadvantaged to give more to the rich -- a policy that's not only hard-hearted, but stupid and dangerous. People can only take so much, and when they have nothing more to lose they will strike back. Any society that protects the rich while taking from everyone else is doomed to failure.
