We lost a great innovator last night. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, passed away at the young age of 56. His vision, success and contributions to technology are staggering, so I’ll let you read about that at his Wikipedia page. I thought it would be appropriate to pay tribute to this legend of technology by showcasing some of the outdoor advertising campaigns Apple and TBWA\Chiat\Day created together over the years.
What can we learn from Apple’s outdoor ads? Keep it simple. Promote one product at a time. Usually the best feature to promote is how the product will make you feel or change your life, not some sort of technical spec or gadget jargon. Have a brand vision and stick to it. Design is everything.
