A Grateful Heart

By Winyeemichelle
Here’s a list of the things I’m grateful for today: a fresh breakfast eaten by a naturally lit window in the comfort of my family home, my puppy who genuinely never fails to make me smile, my cloud duvet, having dreams beyond the ordinary, having a boyfriend that supports and shares my said dreams, a two-client strong barre class that really saw to my muscles indeed, a gloriously strong coffee almost completely downed in 5 minutes flat during my 3pm slump, a beyond-awesome Girl Gang who seem to perk my afternoons up with whatever nonsensicals are being uttered, having a bedroom to call my own, late morning lake walks with Papa Daisy who is young beyond his years.
And something I’m not so grateful for: a broken Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
It’s been a wild ol’ week at Chez Daisybutter. I’ve been absolutely stacked against it with work and just about managed to leave the house today to walk Milo and attend my weekly barre class… and that’s about it. What a great reminder to savour the smaller things in life and look to the tiniest things to help a week, or indeed day, tick along just a touch faster and happier.
