A Gem of a City, and Our #87/365...

By Suvenchow
As a reward for her "hard work" yesterday at the photo shoot, mommy decided to take Little Miss NAPB on a city outing via ferry today. She absolutely loves going on ferry rides, because just like a Golden Retriever, she loves having the wind blow on her face. Such a bad metaphor, I know. LOL. And we managed to get Little Mr Cool and Aunty M together for our exciting day out, yay!

(#87/365) We had lunch at Zensaki Restaurant, and Little Miss NAPB was extremely well behaved by finishing her bowl (with no spillage) of Tonkotsu Ultimate Ramen.

We then went to Forrest Chase to have some fun at the Play Fountain. It was a great activity to participate in, and the weather today was lovely for it. I've always been a huge advocate for more Free Play and Outdoor Play for children (read the article on more play time for children here), so it's really great that Australia has such a perfect setting for it. Even the CBD has some form of outdoor activity that kids can have fun with, like this Play Fountain area smacked in the middle of the shopping street. We love Australia! <3

And Little Miss NAPB got wet... like soaking wet. Luckily mommy bought extra clothes and nappies. LOL. But I really can't stress enough that children should be allowed to experience all this simple things in life, like getting wet in the middle of the day, playing with sand, rolling in dirt, etc. It's called CHILDHOOD. :)

Doesn't Little Mr Cool look oh-so-handsome? :-D

Thank you Aunty M and Little Mr Cool for accompanying us today, we really enjoyed your company!
And this is how my little tired out starfish look like...
How could you not love this country? <3
And...... the final outcome of the day. <3 <3 <3
