One of the wonderful types of flowers that bloom in the DC area in the spring are peonies. And no matter how much I’ve tried – in the past I’ve never really managed to get peony photos that I’ve been happy with. The blossoms are so easily affected by rain and heat that it can be a challenge to find them in great shape. Some of them flowers are so large – that the weight causes the blossoms to quickly droop to the ground. This year – I managed to find a couple of peony blossoms to photograph – hope you enjoy seeing them.
