A Fashion Primer About Undershirts

By Cefashion @cefashion

When thinking about men’s undershirts, the former opinion was that they were just a layer of clothing to keep you warmer and protect your more expensive dress shirts. However more recently, the undershirt has been paid more attention to. Previously, it didn’t seem like it mattered if a man’s undershirt fit, as long as it was able to be tucked in and not really seen under your clothing. With the change in thought about today’s undershirts, the fabric, fit, and quality matter.

There are many designers like Calvin Klein, Tommy John, Hugo Boss, and Versace who have their version of men’s undershirts. Some prefer to work in pure fabrics like 100% Pima cotton, while others have moved onto a more modern mix with fabrics like Modal and Elastane. In turn, the type of fabric used helps to determine the fit. While cotton undershirts may be more boxy and roomy, the ones with sleeker materials and stretch may be more fitted. A fit that is a little closer to the body, without being too tight, is what will make a body more defined. Also, if the undershirt is being worn as lounge wear or casual wear, the fit and the fabric make a difference.

One undershirt that caught my attention is called the Underfit. When compared to some of the other designer undershirts, they seem to be ahead of the pack when it comes to using a mix of Modal, Tencel, and Spandex, which gives it softness and sheen, while giving it the ability to wick away moisture and resist odor. The areas where Underfit shirts advance above the rest are how they are manufactured from eco-friendly materials, regularly donate part of their proceeds to charity, and also refund your money after 3 weeks, with no questions asked, even if the shirt has been worn.

Also, the price of $25 is a bargain for the quality of the slim tailored cut and great fit. Don’t just take my word for it – check out all the positive press Underfit’s  gotten recently at http://underfitshirts.com/reviews!
