Budget 30k
How did you meet? We met at work.
Why did you choose to have the children as your bridal party? (such a nice idea!)Save Our invites, which I designed myself.
Splurge Laurent Perrier champagne and oysters
We had our hens and stag on the same night. My best friend Camilla planned a hotel suite celebration at the Hilton with champagne and a tarot reader for all my girls, it was wild. Pete and his boys went and ate Italian at his cousin's restaurant Venosa. Later in the night we all met at Rockefeller and danced and drank until the small hours of the morning before returning back to the Hilton suite to watch the Rugby world cup final!
Where did you/will you go for your honeymoon?Did you DIY? No, wedding and DIY was my idea of a nightmare.
The most difficult part was the guest list, what started at 60 quickly became 80, and eventually settled at 86!
The most fun were all the initial brainstorming meetings with everyone involved, and shopping for the dress.
We are a blended family it was all about making a commitment to each other and our kids in front of everyone we love.
Decide your budget together and don't try to please anyone but yourselves. Put money aside whenever you can and don't touch it! Allow for going over budget, as it will most likely happen!
We stayed on Waiheke after the wedding, our favourite place in the world!
