Check out three amazing brands you’ll find at Citadel Outlets! Outfit details will be up soon…

If you are a Los Angeles native, chances are you have referred to Citadel Outlets as the castle off the 5 freeway. Citadel, located in the city of Commerce, first opened its doors in 1990 with merchandise priced 30% to 70% below retail. Prior to that, it was a tire and rubber company known as Uniroyal Tire.

I remember visiting the Citadel Outlet a couple of times during my teenage years, but parking was always a hassle and the stores were not alluring. However, with the recent multi-year development plan, which added 32,000 square feet of new brands and merchandise selection, Citdel Outlets has become Los Angeles’ choice for outlet shopping. How can you say no to great designer items at major savings?! Additionally, parking is no longer an issue, as they have built a five-story parking structure for 501 parking spaces and offer valet parking for only $5.

Citadel hosted a media/blogger event in their VIP Lounge, which is designed for the most elite spenders and groups visiting the outlet. It is a luxurious space to relax, get personalized concierge assistance, store bags and luggage, refresh, and use wireless internet. They offer light snacks, complimentary beverages, in-lounge food delivery…the perks are endless. They seriously roll out the red carpet for their super shoppers to make their experience memorable.  You may get more details here.

In our goodie bag, we received a gift card and a VIP Savings Card, which made me eager to shop! The stores are so neat and inviting. In addition to the VIP Savings Card, participating stores offer student discounts, and military discounts. You can see the list of stores here.

To add to the amazing advantages Citadel offers their visitors, they have a daily shuttle service with multiple round-trips from Anaheim called L.A.’s Outlet Express. You may purchase your ticket online for only $16, and it includes a VIP Saving Cards and Shopping Bag. There is also the Citadel Outlets Express bus service, which is a free daily transportation service to Citadel Outlets from multiple Downtown Los Angeles locations.

Citadel also hosts events and celebrations, such as Cinco de mayo, Chinese New Year, Moonlight Madness (Black Friday), Shopping Extravaganza, casting calls, and a Tree Lighting Concert. Shopping Extravaganza offers exclusive discounts to many of the retail stores, baggage check, lunch and Live Entertainment for a small price. Casting Calls have included The Biggest Loser. However, the biggest event at Citadel, is the Tree Lighting Concert. It is a free concert and tree lighting ceremony. Previous headline performers have included Big Time Rush, Justin Bieber, Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, Victoria Justice, and many more. Moreover, the Christmas tree stands at 115 feet tall, spans 20 feet longer than an NBA basketball court, stands at twice the size of the famous Hollywood sign, and is 40-feet taller than the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City. In addition to the world’s tallest Christmas tree, Citadel Outlets is also topped by the world’s largest bow. You may see upcoming events here.

Thank you Citadel for giving me the VIP treatment and wonderful tour. I will be returning for all my shopping needs! Will you be visiting Citadel Outlets soon? What store are you looking forward too?

*Disclosure: I was invited to attend a VIP Blogger Event at Citadel Outlet and received a gift card/gift bag in exchange of my honest review as part of the Latina Lifestyle Bloggers Collective Campaign agreement for the Citadel Campaign.
