The best time for Safari

The ideal time for visiting the park is during winters. Tourists can opt for two different slots including that of the morning and the evening slot. The morning safari starts at 6.30 in the morning and lasts till around 10.30 a.m. On the other hand, the evening safari starts at 2 in the afternoon and lasts till 6 p.m. in the evening.

Tourists can also enjoy safari during the summer season. During the summers, the morning safari takes place between 6-10 a.m. whereas the evening safari is organized between 2.30 to 6.30 p.m. It is only ideal that you pay a visit to the park between the months of October and June as the park remains closed for tourists from the months of July-September.

How to Reach

In order to get to Sariska National Park, tourists need to travel to New Delhi from where one can easily reach the Park situated in Rajasthan, which is only around 215 km away. On the other hand, you can also travel by air and catch a flight to Delhi. Once at the Delhi airport, you can catch a cab or another transport to get to Sariska, around 163 km away. Alternatively, you can also choose to travel via train. Alwar is the closet station to Sariska, around 37 km away. This station lies on the route to Delhi-Jaipur. After reaching Alwar, tourists can catach another taxi and get to Sariska. In addition to this, several buses also ply between Alwar and Sariska.
