A Chic City Wedding in Liverpool

By Lovegetssweeter @LoveGetsSweeter

Anna and Lee booked me after a very unusual way of finding me…Anna’s Dad bumped in to my assistant filming in Sefton Park in Liverpool, a long conversation about camera’s led to the question about filming his daughters wedding and then the next minute I had the pleasure of chatting to him over the phone arranging a time to meet his lovely daughter and future son-in-law to discuss their fabulous city wedding!

And don’t even get me started on that dress and those two amazing pairs of Jimmy Choos…

Anna and Lee booked nice and early, so early we even moved house in between, so I was able to keep up to date with all of their wedding plans and ideas as well as them giving me feedback on what they loved about my work. This all helped on the day as they were super excited to get started and there was no awkwardness with us being there at all! We were treated to cups of tea, sandwiches, make up tips and even magic tricks from Dad as the girls all got glam and before we knew it we were getting Anna in to her dress. She not only got to wear an amazing pair of Jimmy Choos but Lee even treated her to another pair as a gift (and the look on everyone’s face was priceless)! A bit of rain did threaten to spoil the mood but eased off just in time for Anna to make her way to the church…

St Peter’s Church in Woolton is beautiful and I really couldn’t have imagined how amazingly personal the service would be, the priest even dug out a sombrero for part of the service…

The wedding reception at Radisson Blu near Liverpools Dock Road was the location for the chic wedding reception and a place to hide from the rain. The views from the wedding breakfast room were stunning and complemented by the amazing flower displays on the tables created by Red Floral Architecture. The speeches went well too, even though their were a few shaking hands before they started and soon everyone was ready to have a bit of a dance…
