A Boxing Day Wedding Video at Nunsmere Hall

By Lovegetssweeter @LoveGetsSweeter

We LOVE Christmas here at Love Gets Sweeter Wedding Videos. And Boxing Day. And Winter Weddings. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

So it was a huge honor when a very good friend of one of my Bride’s (thanks Carly, you can see her marrying Scott HERE) got in touch asking if we’d consider working on Boxing Day at their festive Nunsmere Hall wedding instead of stuffing our faces with left over turkey….oh okay then, seeing as you asked so nicely (and promised extra cake, she knows the way to our heart)!

it was the perfect December winter morning in Northwich, Cheshire. With clear blue skies and a sparkly frost on the ground.

The morning started with me bumping in to my other Bride Carly in the lift (very excited about the day ahead) and Lee trying to chase down the Groom who was making sure all the final touches for their wedding day looked perfect.

The girls had me in stitches with their conversations (as I’m sure you can see from all the funny facial expressions in the video, they’re hilarious) and I felt I learnt a hell of a lot about them in a short space of time!

After they’d had all their hair and make-up perfected by Jessica Mair it was time to get in to the stunning blush pink ASOS bridesmaid dresses (I know, who knew ASOS did such gorgeous dresses!) before helping Chrissie get in to her gorgeous lace wedding dress…

Matt finally got to his room to get himself looking smart before heading down to great his wedding guests.

The ceremony room at Nunsmere looked so romantic with the white blossom tree’s and aisle!

There was just enough time for a pep talk from Harriet and a high five before Chrissie was ready to make her entrance!

Her Mum walked her proudly down the aisle and as she arrived by Matt’s side the registrar passed him a tissue to wipe his tears away.

The extremely talented Nerys Hewitt was there to play her down the aisle with a traditional harp, it sounded wonderfully romantic!

The ceremony itself was full of beautiful words (as well as a few throw your head back belly laughs) and they were soon exchanging their wedding rings (which Harriett was ready and waiting to pass over). The room filled with applause as they sealed it all with a kiss and they enjoyed cheeky waves and smiles with all their guests as they signed the register.

The new Mr and Mrs Tyldesley were soon making their way up the aisle and being covering in colourful paper confetti (confetti that took them forever to hole punch I believe…) with huge grins on their faces!

Guests mingled with mulled wine and mini mince pies before being ushered out in to the crisp winter air for some group photos with their wedding photographer Max Sarasini.

We then had a few fun photos with the bridesmaids (I won’t mentioned the salty comments being thrown around *little in joke) and Mum before pinching them to get some gorgeous newlywed shots around the gardens at Nunsmere Hall.

Before we all turned blue we hurried inside and captured the guests cheering as the new Mr and Mrs made their way to their seats for the wedding breakfast!

Speeches began before the food and a Matt had his Bride both laughing and crying with his thoughtful and personal wedding speech.

Guests soon tucked in to their fabulous feast (we won’t mention the mishap with the someone mistaking the gravy jug for the sticky toffee sauce…) and deep in thought to try and win the prize for guessing all the answers on their Christmas song picture quiz!

With it now being dark outside Chrissie and Matt got all their guests out by the marquee to give them a grand entrance to their marquee evening reception.

It was fun watching all the guests trying to light their sparklers as quickly as possible to give the best effect for the wedding photographer! They managed it though and it looked really magical and exciting on the wedding video (and no-one managed to get injured in the process, including me haha).

They soon took to the floor as husband and wife for their first dance. With her sister the DJ and giant illuminated LOVE letters the setting was perfect as they swayed along to their first dance song by Elton John inside the marquee at Nunsmere Hall.

Guests soon joined them and the floor was literally bouncing as Macklemore followed…

Honestly the most fun I’ve ever had on a Boxing Day (it definitely beat family arguments over board game rules) and it was a pleasure to be the one there to capture such a fun and relaxed wedding day, creating the perfect winter wedding video for them to enjoy for many years to come!

If you loved this and would like to hear more about my wedding videography and how I’d work on your wedding get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
