Hill's custom closets do double duty as both clothing receptacles and movable partitions, thanks to skateboard wheels affixed to their bases.
Designer Barbara Hill, whose renovation of a West Texas dance hall we adore, admits to putting her bathtub in the middle of her bedroom for "purely romantic reasons." From the bed, she can gaze straight out on the tub, though a pair of custom-made closets by George Sacaris offers a bit of seclusion from the rest of the house. Sacaris even roughed up the back panels of the closets with sandpaper to make them opaque while still letting light through. The tub itself is from Wetstyle's <="" href="http://wetstyle.ca/collection/ove-collection" and Hill found the chandelier at August Antiques in Houston.
