First, Ellie turned 10 yesterday, on Easter. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. We are finally, after years of begging, getting her a puppy, a shorkie (shitzhu/yorkie). The puppy was born March 8 and will come home to in late June. I have no words to tell you how excited Ellie is.
Here is Coco (her official, full name is "Coco Princess Consuela Banana Hammock Kramer Curran" - don't even ask! :)
And here is my baby, one day before turning ten:
Next, we got back from a week in the Bahamas Saturday. My family has been going for maybe 35 or 40 years to a time share my parents bought there when I was very little. I wanted to show you some highlights:
This is Bobby doing what he does best - thinking about football. Tom Brady was two doors down from us on Paradise Island, but despite my constant posts on his Facebook wall, we couldn't find him. (Funny if inappropriate story: Bobby talks about football all the time. One day recently, during the playoffs, he was nonstop chatter about strategy, etc. My husband looked at him and said, "Dude. You're 14. Aren't you supposed to be thinking about sex, too?") Anyway, my future football GM:
This next one cracks me up because she's been trying to get him with the bunny ears her whole life. In so many photos her hand is behind him reaching up, but she is too short for the fingers to show. She finally got him, and was SO proud :)
Sweet girl wearing Mommy's shoes to dinner - very exciting. My dad didn't approve, but who cares!
Big celebration because she hit the ping pong ball. Never mind that it went ten feet past the table before bouncing ;)
My handsome man:
And my other handsome man. I love when he looks at me like this:
And here are the rooms. Despite the post title, not all of these lean french, but a lot of them do. It seems to be what I am drawn to lately (of course, now that my home is almost completely transitional!)
Speechless.
Aren't these the cutest gifts from only $18? I bought one last year, but am wondering where in the world it went. I wish patio umbrellas were priced like this!
