Simply put, in the coming time, it will be necessary to have a SIM card to use WhatsApp in any mobile phone. Without sim card you will not be able to use whatsapp in phone. It has been told in the report that this suggestion has been given by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to the Meta-owned app Whatsapp.

Strictness of the government – ​​WhatsApp accounts with fraud numbers closed

Recently Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had informed that about 36 lakh WhatsApp accounts have been blocked in India. All these accounts were being run from fake numbers. Meanwhile, he said that he has an understanding with WhatsApp that if any mobile phone number is found to be involved in forgery, that account will be deactivated. Apart from this, he also told that he is constantly talking to WhatsApp and WhatsApp is also very active regarding the security of the users. WhatsApp considers customer safety very important. Fraud calls to users coming from international numbers

Many people on the social media platform have complained that they have been receiving scam calls on WhatsApp for some time now. The special thing is that these spam calls are not coming from random numbers but from international numbers like +84 (code for Vietnam), +62 (country code for Indonesia) and +223 (code for Mali). Experts related to cyber security say that such international numbers are easily bought.
