Man City, Puma, and digital artist Musketon collaborated on the 93:20 NFT line. On Friday, May 13th, at 8pm UK time, the drop will take place on the MakersPlace NFT marketplace.

Remembering ’93:20′ Manchester City is releasing its fourth NFT collection to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their first Premier League title and the legendary 93:20 moment. If you somehow missed one of Manchester City’s most significant days, here’s what happened.

They were down 2-1 late in the game against QPR, and supporters were beginning to lose faith. At 91:14 minutes of stoppage time, Edin Dzeko rose and buried a header past the goalkeeper to tie the game. Supporters and staff were hugging and preparing to leave the stadium at the 93-minute mark, but City players were not done yet. Sergio Aguero sprints into a gap and receives the ball from Mario Balotelli…

Aguero hits the ball cleanly at the 93:20 mark, the goal net bulges, and the Etihad Stadium erupts in a frenzy! Smiles, embraces, and happy tears poured into the stadium from Man City fans all over the world. Whether you like cities or not, this was a unique experience.

Puma by Musketeer for Manchester City

Musketon agreed right away when Manchester City asked him to take part in this project. He was pleased to have contributed to the club’s illustrious football history and the game-changing goal. He uses his distinct visual artistic style to represent 93:20 in this NFT by manipulating time’s essence. Puma’s ULTRA Football Boots will be released on the same day as the NFT, according to the artwork.

Only 120 pairs will be produced as a tribute to the goal. On the outside of the boots, you can see the 93:20 logo. In addition, the commentator’s famous “Agueroooooooo!” phrase is featured on the footbed. Sergio Aguero’s original PUMA v1.11 football boots feature the same color scheme as this Puma boot.

The club isn’t new to the NFT scene. To memorialize their Premier League title, Manchester City released their first collection with Jon Noorlander in May 2021. They then collaborated with Alan Bolton on their second album. The Creation Drop is an abstract representation of the process of developing the perfect football player. Then they teamed up with Sony to create a metaverse replica of Etihad Stadium. All of the football club’s previous NFTs are available on MakersPlace.

Now that Manchester City fans can be a part of the legendary experience, the NFT means a lot more to them. City’s Don Dransfield emphasizes the company’s dedication to blockchain and NFT. They will also continue to work with well-known skilled creators as well as their numerous club partners.
