Based on Vanguard, the Police Service Fee (PSC) on the weekend in Benin, stated over 90 per cent of intending law enforcement officials didn't rating as much as 30 per cent within the police recruitment examinations throughout the nation.
The Commissioner representing the Mass Media and the South-south Zone within the Police Service Fee (PSC), Austin Braimoh made the revelation at a one-day city corridor assembly organised by the Fee and the Edo State Police Command.
He stated the purpose of the city corridor assembly is to work on the connection between the police and the general public and in addition enlighten the general public on the continuing recruitment train.
Braimoh stated, "The Fee has the accountability of familiarizing the general public with the present recruitment train and enhancing citizen relationship with the police for efficient policing.
"One of many challenges the Fee is going through at the moment is that for a very long time those that are making use of for recruitment into the pressure are most instances academically challenged as over 90 per cent don't rating as much as 30 per cent within the recruitment examinations.
