8 and 1/2 Things …

By Omamas @jeannjeannie

At nearly-4 and one and a half, my kids are smarter than me in a lot of ways.

So I shouldn’t be surprised that they’ve spent these first few months of 2013 reminding me of some important lessons, like:

It’s easy to be fearless if you know you are loved.

It’s good to wake up early and get the day started, especially if you’re going on an adventure with Dad.

It’s important to play so hard that the only option is to sleep sitting up.

Friends are super-important … they are the family we choose … so it’s important to dig deep, choose wisely, and to appreciate them.

Hats are good (and better when they are homemade by a dear friend).

Life is messy.  But most messes aren’t permanent.

Hold hands on the path.  We’re lucky to walk together.

Hug your mother …

as often as you can …

Because no one loves you like she does.

xo,

Jeanne
