7 Years Bad Sex by Nicky Wells- Cover Reveal + Interview

7 Years Bad Sex
One wedding. One curse? Disaster ever after…
A seven-years-bad-sex curse? Surely not! Yet something went wrong when rock singer Casey and drummer Alex got married on that beautiful yacht anchored off St Tropez in the south of France. Something went badly wrong. For even on their wedding night, the young couple discovers a complete and somewhat surprising inability to make love. Muddling through their honeymoon with a string of thin excuses for their predicament, the lovers defer finding a solution (and panicking) until the return to their home in London. After all, they married for life and to make rock music, not for the love of sex. Right?
But when they resume life as normal in London, all hell breaks loose. Increasingly frantic in their quest for release, the unhappy newlyweds embark on a string of hilarious and occasionally harmful antics that drives them, their band, and an assortment of random strangers to the brink of despair. But it ain’t over ‘til it’s over or, in this case… it ain’t over ‘til the newlyweds sing.

PLEASE WELCOME NICKY WELLS TO THE BOOK REVIEW!
This is the first in a series of mini interviews I had a chance to do with Nicky and I am so thrilled to have her with us today!!
1) When did you know you wanted to be a writer?
I knew I wanted to be a writer when I started writing stories instead of going to sleep. I used to huddle on my window sill, hiding behind the blackout blinds so that my Mum wouldn’t cotton on to what I was doing, and write out short stories and the occasional attempt at a novel in my favorite green biro. I must have been ten or eleven back then.
2) What was your favorite book as a child?
The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. It tells the story of Bastian, a young, overweight and unpopular boy who somehow ends up stealing a magical book and holing up to read in his school’s attic on a rainy November day instead of attending lessons. He eventually gets drawn into the story—literally—and this is simply the most amazing book ever written. I just read it to my own kids, and even though it’s very long and quite complex in places, they were absolutely mesmerised and held on to every detail. Don’t watch the film—you’ve got to read the book.
3) Who is your all time favorite musical group or singer?
Oh gosh, I have three! I can’t possibly monogamous here!
First love—Joey Tempest of Europe.
First band ever met in person and following devoutly since—FM
Ongoing would-love-to-meet-one-day love—Bon Jovi
