After trying the juicing recipes for healthy skin, I am completely addicted to juicing; cleaning the juicer… not so much.  I started off making simple concoctions without anything I deemed “scary” but now other than BEETS… I can not, will not…simply refuse to ever consume beets.  They taste like dirt, always have… always will!  But other than beets, pretty much every other vegetable or fruit makes for a good treat.   This morning I even tried a smoothie. (I have so many delicious ingredients right now I couldn’t resist mixing them with the juice!)

With clean eating and juicing and healthy living, it is important to choose foods that provide several benefits, as well as tasting great and satisfying hunger.   These 7 detox superfoods were chosen because they contain high concentrations of crucial nutrients, as well as the fact that many of them are low in calories. Foods containing these nutrients have been proven to help prevent and, in some cases, reverse the well-known effects of aging, including cardiovascular disease, Type II Diabetes, hypertension and certain cancers.
