4. Veno Marioghae.
The 1986 single “Nigeria Go Survive” by Veno Marioghae was a smash hit in her native Nigeria. The songs were created to inspire the people of Nigeria to persevere despite the country’s current economic crisis.
5. Uche Ibeto.
Uche Ibeto was at the height of his fame in the late 1980s. She became known as the “Jigida Queen” after the success of her single “Jigida.” Uche’s wide range of motion and inventive choreography in her music videos and live performances won over many male followers.
