6 Brands to Shop That Are Supporting Pride Month

By Leslielazard @leslielazard

As Pride month is close to coming to an end, I wanted to take some time out to highlight a few retailers and brands that have actively been supporting the LGBTQ community during Pride month this year. I'm really happy to see several of my favorite brands (ASOS, Sephora, and Nyx) actively taking the initiative to focus on Pride this month - and all of the brands and retailers mentioned here are have gone above and beyond for Pride, donating proceeds, designing special collections, and supporting various organizations that are helping to advance LQBTQ empowerment and visibility.

ASOS
ASOS partnered with GLAAD on its 2020 Pride collection, and is also donating 100% of net sales to GLAAD, in support of its mission to promote accurate LGBTQ representation in the media. I love these colorful unisex tees, and really love the tie-dye print on this tee that's part of the collection as well.

Sephora
Sephora's 'We Love Pride' collection includes six limited edition products - including this ah-mazing eyeshadow palette by Tarte. The colors are super vibrant and playful, plus it comes with a mini version of Tarte's 'Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara (I've used this one before, and it is good). One dollar from every purchase in the collection in the month of June goes to support a range of LGBTQ charities across the United States.

Converse
Converse's Pride collection this year is inspired by the 'More Color, More Pride' flag, which includes black and brown stripes to celebrate queer people of color. I'm especially partial to these custom Pride platform All Star's - the platform and rainbow stripes are super vibrant and fun.

Williams-Sonoma & Pottery Barn
I'm not sure why, but I just always think of the Pottery Barn brand as this super conservative retailer. Both Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma have partnered with The Trevor Project, a crisis counseling center for LGBTQ youth, this year to design a collection of home goods for Pride month. A portion of all proceeds generated from the collection will be donated to The Trevor Project. My favorites from the collections include this adorable coffee mug and the matching catchall tray, along with this colorful striped accent pillow - perfect for both indoors outdoors.

Nyx
NYX is donating $50,000 to LGBTQ+ organizations around the world this year, including the LA LGBT Center. I love how wearable the eyeshadow palette and eyeliner set from their Pride Collection seem.

Target
Target's collections mostly always knock it out of the park, and their Pride collection (featuring over 100 products!) this year is no different. These colorful, rainbow tasseled earrings are so cute! And they're also donating $100,000 to support GLSEN, an educational nonprofit that works to foster LGBTQ acceptance in schools.
