This season is about all things oversized. If you're like me the step away from tight clothing is welcomed with open arms. Besides the constricting aspects, tighter clothing requires a particular body type and/or a certain degree of confidence. Both of which I lack. Oversized on the other hand looks great on everyone.
If you are interested in jumping on the oversized trend, but are unsure of how to do it. Here are a few tips on how to do it:
Go Big With Your Tee
This is basically giving you permission to wear your pajamas outside. Not only will you be super comfortable, you will look ridiculously chic. Best of both worlds.
Embrace Sweater Weather
Sweater weather is upon us. Why not embrace it and wear an oversized chunky sweater? It looks great over pants, but even cuter over a pleated skirt. Throw on some over the knee socks or boots for an added edge.
Enlarge Your Classic Staple
There's nothing more classic than a white shirt. Why not take that classic and add a current spin to it? You can pair an oversized white shirt with a midi skirt, denim, or (if you're feeling daring) on its own.
Boost Your Outerwear
This is probably the most wearable of the oversized trend especially for those who are leery of trying it. Oversized outerwear is not only stylish, it's practical. Think of all of the layers that you wear when it is cold out. With oversized outerwear, things feel a lot less bulky!
Take A Page Out of Yeezy's Book
Kanye West has cornered the market on oversized sweatshirts so much so that an entire post could be dedicated to his love of oversized sweatshirts. He has the right idea though! This style is chic and can be worn a multitude of ways (both dressed up and dressed down).
