5 Things to Do at Phewa Nepalese Restaurant in East Molesey

By Djridings @fivethingsnow

Phewa is a new restaurant opened on the up and coming ‘Walton Road’ in East Molesey.

Here are 5 things to do at this excellent restaurant today.

One

Order a Gurkha Beer and feel that you are in Nepal. Whilst you are sipping on your beer you can nibble on the complementary salad – this is one of the freshest salads you will ever have.

Two

Choose from the extensive menu which has quite a range of hot special dishes in addition to the familiar and some unusual choices such as Jhinga Sublime

Three

Order the Chicken Mo Mo. These delicate dumplings are always a highlight in any Nepalese restaurants and Phewa serve excellent ones. Try this street food as your started.

Steamed fragrantly spiced dumpling, served with typical Nepalese chutney.

Four

We tried a mild dish of chicken Korma when we visited. The Korma had plenty of meat and a very rich sauce. The rice was fresh and was definitely cooked to order.

A mild but tasty curry prepared with nuts in a special sauceand slow cooked to perfection.

Five

No mean is complete without a side dish and Phewa serve excellent Naan bread. We have pictured the Peshawari Naan below which was superb and very hot on arrival!
