Forever 21 has really upped its game since the last two years or so and while many other players in the teen retail industry were either downsizing (Wet Seal) or straight off going for liquidation (Deb's and Delia's), Forever 21 has managed to grow. On August 17th, American Apparel said it may have to go out of business. "American Apparel said that because it tripped a debt covenant with a key lender, Capital One, it is looking into ways out of its jam, including refinancing debt, raising new equity and other restructuring or new capital raising transactions."
Forever 21, however, is here to stay. Part of their strategy has been carefully listening to what the customer has to say and follow the trends of influencers in the fashion industry and quickly adapting their stores to inject this newness. Whether you are looking for the latest Coachella style or a quick update to your work wardrobe, Forever 21 manages to offer all of that and more.
While Forever 21 continues to expand and there is no reason for us to love the brand any less, it is always good to have options. So, where should you look? These 5 stores are at par with Forever 21 when it comes to bringing you the latest trends and the must have styles.
