5 From This Month | November

Slightly out of sync this month, since it's now actually December but here we go - the usual run down of my top things from the month.
I think I may have to enforce a trainer ban soon, or at least until the Boxing Day sales... I bought these Adidas Gazelles a few weeks back, after considering a pair for the best part of 6 months (maybe longer) I'm so glad I bought them and I'd even go so far to say they're potentially comfier than my New Balance 420s and I've just about worn my burgundy pair into the ground now. The question is, do I need a gray pair now... I think I do!
Shoes aside, let's chat traveling. I went down to London this month to visit my Aunt and do some shopping. I managed to go to Bicester and leave Mulberry without a bag (they didn't have the taupe one I'd be buying anyway) but I had a lovely few days away. Then last weekend I headed up to Edinburgh with my sister, you'll hear more about that trip on Thursday though so check back for that.
Whilst I mention Edinburgh, I need to address this mug I've included - it's from the Christmas markets up there and I had my first (and hopefully not the last) mulled wine of the year. I kept my mug from one of the markets in Berlin nearly two years ago, so I guess I'm just continuing that trend now.
I've had a couple of cinema trips (or we could call them dates? maybe) this month. Burnt was really good and a little bit different. I definitely enjoyed seeing all the dishes they were cooking. Mockingjay Part 2 was brilliant and a great ending to The Hunger Games, though it's still a shame I never got round to reading all the books. I'll have to do that now, which seems a bit back-to-front. Next on my cinema list; The Good Dinosaur (yes really!) and The Revenant, but I don't think that's out until January.
I spoke about H&M's new beauty collection recently and I've been using this neutral eyeshadow palette everyday. It's great value at just under £10 and I know I'll use every shade.
Other things that stood out in November include; being shortlisted for Best Lifestyle Blog, Afternoon Tea at Seaham Hall, Durham Lumiere, trying out the festive menu at The Botanist, wearing this outfit (well very similar) on a daily basis, and watching Big Hero 6 again - it's such a good film! Can I also cheekily mention my new All Saints leather jacket, which is actually a Christmas present but I've got it early!
What stood out for you in November?
