With the onset of the exam period, early morning revision and a general lack of time to spend on making myself look half human, I've had to resort to using the bare minimum amount of makeup products. My morning routine over the last couple of weeks have consisted of a rather measly four produces which I know I can get on my face in less than five minutes, leaving all the more time to work on my knowledge - fun!
I've been skipping out on the traditional heavy bases and opting for a concealer instead. The Clarins Instant Perfect is one that I've raved about before but for good reason. Patted on with a finger, this provides high coverage in the areas that it's needed and melts into the skin for a flawless finish. Some days I do pop on a little mineral foundation, bronzer or blush if I really want to push the boat out, but most days they're left collecting dust at the moment. My brows are growing pretty well at the moment, all thanks to LiBrow, so all I've had to do is run a little powder through them. My pick - the Tropic brow powder in Brunette is a wonderfully ashy color that suits my shade perfectly, never appears too orange and lasts all day. A great product for anyone who loves natural makeup and wants to experiment with brows - plus, the duo ended brush that it comes with is pretty good and great for traveling. Mascara has been the usual Rimmel Lash Accelerator or Benefit Roller Lash, but leaning towards the former because it's just SO much easier to get off. Finally, I finish off the look with one of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Balms - a lipstick/gloss/balm hybrid, which are incredibly moisturing and have a range of everyday neutral shades to some brighter colours, so you can fake the fact that you've actually made some effort.
