The turtleneck was something that your mom forced you to wear as child. If you were a 90's kid, you probably wore one for some sort of recital where all the players had to match. My parent's church liked to do red turtlenecks for the Christmas service. That being said- once you get over the horrors of childhood-we can all agree that the turtleneck is a classic staple that every fashion girl should appreciate.
